I’ve been going over every part of my business lately trying to streamline things here and there. I figure the more efficient I can make things run will in turn allow me to take on more clients.
I’ve revamped my billing and it seems to be working much better. I’ve got no outstanding invoices and new clients know going into the relationship what to expect.
The one thing that has always got me down is the amount of time I spend answering/sending emails. My main issue is with clients that don’t respond to emails I send them and yet continue to send me email after email with questions & comments that are all addressed in the one email I sent days before. I’ve contemplated just replying with my initial unanswered email (Thanks Sean Masters) and this certainly has it’s merits and is something I’m willing to do. I’ve also contemplated just not responding to their emails. I’ve actually tried this method and guess what happened? I got a phone call asking me if I changed my email!
So here’s my question: What do you think I should do to streamline my email process?
